Chief Financial Officer appointment

The Board is pleased to announce that Rich Cashin will succeed Nick Keveth as Chief Financial Officer of Avon Protection plc ("Avon Protection" or the "Group").

As planned and previously announced, Nick will retire as Chief Financial Officer and stand down from the Board on 31 March 2022. Rich will join the Group as Chief Financial Officer-designate on 7 March 2022, enabling a period of hand-over, before being appointed to the Board as an Executive Director on 31 March 2022.

Rich brings to Avon Protection substantial experience in strategic and financial roles in listed companies in the aerospace and defence industry. Prior to this appointment, Rich has held the position of President, Strategy and Corporate Development for Ultra Electronics Holdings plc since June 2019. Prior to that he was Group Head of Investor Relations and, subsequently, a divisional Finance Director for Meggitt PLC. He has also held a number of investment and finance roles at Rolls-Royce plc and UBS AG. Rich is a Chartered Management Accountant.
