ISSUE OF SHARES

EMED Mining Public Limited ("EMED Mining" or "the Company") wishes to announce that it has issued a total 1,014,921 new ordinary shares in the Company to Resource Capital Fund IV L.P. and RMB Australia Holdings Limited as payment of interest and commitment fees in relation to the convertible note agreement they have with EMED Mining in addition to 34,000 new ordinary shares in respect of the conversion of options by an option holder.

Following the issue of these shares, EMED Mining will have a total of 341,382,620 ordinary shares on issue.
