ISSUE OF SHARES
EMED Mining Public Limited ("EMED Mining") today announced that it has issued a total of 130,968 new ordinary shares of 0.25 pence in the Company ("new ordinary shares") to the partners of Mahuroda LLP (previously NWCF LLP). The partners have exercised their option to purchase the shares at a price of 8p per share pursuant to the terms of an option agreement between NWCF LLP and EMED Mining dated 06 May 2005.
Application has been made for the admission of the 130,968 Ordinary Shares to trading on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange ("Admission"). Admission is expected to become effective on or around 8 April 2011. Following Admission, EMED Mining will have a total of 700,241,573 ordinary shares in issue. Application will also be made for quotation of the new shares on the TSX.
