Statement re Share Price Movement

The Board of Ascent notes the rise in the Ascent share price and confirms that a well test is set to commence at Pg-10 on Thursday 26 January 2017.

In advance of the test gas is presently being flared to clean up the well.

The test is designed to last several days and a full announcement will be made upon completion, expected next week.
