Pentagon Protection PLC18 November 2005 For release 7:00am 18 November 2005 Pentagon Protection plc: Bomb Blast Protection Technology First to successfully achieve ISO draft Standards Pentagon Protection plc ("Pentagon" or "the Company"), the provider of safetyand security products for commercial, architectural and automotive glass,announces the successful testing of its exclusive flexible and metal glassanchoring systems for enhanced blast protection. Both 'Pentagon Elite' and'Pentagon Select' anchoring systems, in conjunction with Pentagon's FT800 blastprotection film, achieved the required standard in explosion range testingcarried out by bomb blast experts to internationally recognised Home Officestandards and guidelines (16933 Glass in Building Explosion resistant securityglazing). The latest international ISO draft standards requires testing to a much higherlevel of explosion which produces twice the pressure at 8.3psi than the 4psithat is required by the United States General Services Agency Method ofClassification (GSA). Since these successful tests, Pentagon has launched these anchoring systemsinitially in the United States as part of its global marketing programme.
