Pentagon Protection Plc

New Contract Win

Pentagon Protection Plc (AIM: PPR), global specialists in the supply and installation of enhanced glass protection, high-risk security consulting, training and specialist security equipment, is pleased to announce that the Group's North American Division, International Glass Solutions (IGS) has been awarded a new contract for the installation of energy saving sun control window film on several buildings located in the State of Arizona, USA. The contract is valued at approximately US$200,000.

The contract, awarded by property asset management company, Biltmore Properties on behalf of Healthcare REIT, is for a total of four buildings, two of which will be completed in May with work commencing immediately. The remaining two buildings are scheduled to be completed in October 2011.

Commenting, Pentagon Protection's Managing Director and Vice President of IGS, Steve Chambers said:

"IGS is very pleased to have been awarded this project, which will significantly improve the energy efficiency of the glass in these buildings and provide energy savings and enhanced comfort benefits for the building occupants. IGS's strength is project management and the award of this project recognizes IGS's ability to provide a rapid service and quality installation throughout the entire process from award of contract to completion of works and after-sales service.

This project dovetails in well with our other ongoing global projects, which include our work for the European Commission in Brussels and our window upgrade works for an overseas government to provide increased protection at missions within volatile areas, as well as with projects we are currently pursuing. We are hopeful that the immediate future albeit sometimes challenging will be busy and bring with it further opportunities for all divisions within the Group."

IGS's strategic partnerships in North America give Pentagon Protection PLC a strong foothold in the USA and enhance its global project management abilities.

Steve Chambers joined Pentagon Protection Plc as Managing Director and was appointed to the main Board of Directors as of 15 November 2010 and is also Vice President of IGS.
