Pentagon Protection PLC29 February 2008 For immediate release29 February 2008 Pentagon Protection Plc ("Pentagon") Contract gains Pentagon Protection, the global specialist in the supply and installation ofenhanced glass protection, announces that it has been awarded a number ofcontracts to apply its glass containment window film and edge-retention systemworth a total of £136,000. Intergovernmental organisation in Geneva On behalf of a global intergovernmental organisation in Geneva, Pentagon willinstall clear high-tensile strength film to provide increased protection againstglass fragmentation. The contract was awarded after a vulnerability studyhighlighted that one of the biggest threats to personnel, delegates and visitorswas glass fragmentation. Midlands shopping centre Pentagon has been contracted to enhance the safety of overhead glazing at ashopping centre in the Midlands. The system has been tested in accordance withthe Glass and Glazing Federation test methods, and open arena blast testing. Leading UK university hospital Pentagon will provide bespoke enhanced glass protection at a leading universityhospital in the UK with the application of clear glass containment film. Thiswill be enhanced with the addition of Pentagon Elite(TM)flexible edge-retentionanchoring profile to three sides. This system was designed and tested to proveits effectiveness in reducing personal injury and expensive clear up costsincurred in the event of damage. Alan Nicholl, Pentagon's Chairman, commented: "This is a great start to the New Year with another shopping centre projectunderway and our development and application of bespoke solutions for ourclients' glazing problems is testament to our technical and product expertise. "We recently reported a stronger set of full year results, with increasedrevenues, the near doubling of gross profits from £456,000 to £819,000 and asignificant reduction in losses and, as I said in my statement, we are now in astronger position to gain market share."
