Ashmore Group PLC05 July 2007 RNS announcement Directorate Change Ashmore Group plc announces that Jim Pettigrew, Chief Operating and FinancialOfficer, will be leaving the company to take up the appointment of ChiefExecutive Officer of CMC Markets plc where he is currently a non-executivedirector. Jim will continue to fulfil all responsibilities in his current roleuntil such time as a successor has been identified and after an appropriatehandover period. The search for his replacement is underway.
