ASOS appoints new Non-Executive Director

ASOS plc ("ASOS" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of William Barker as Non-Executive Director.

William is the founder and CEO of Camelot Capital Partners LLC ("Camelot Partners"), a California-based investment management company. William is also the Executive Chairman of Tapi Carpets & Floors, Executive Chairman of Synnovia, a UK manufacturing conglomerate and is also a founding investor and board member of Re:Build Manufacturing. Previously William was an advisor to Tony Hsieh, the founder of Zappos.

Camelot Partners holds 16,722,381 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 14.02% of the Company's issued share capital. Given William's relationship with Camelot Partners., a significant shareholder, in accordance with the UK Corporate Governance Code 2018 William joins the Board as a Non-Independent Non-executive Director.

Jørgen Lindemann, ASOS Chairman, said:

He brings a wealth of retail and commercial experience alongside a deep knowledge and understanding of the ASOS business. There are no additional matters that would require disclosure under LR 9.6.13 R (1) to (6) in respect of William Barker.
