Sub-division of share capital

Further to the announcement dated 27 September 2016, Asa Resource Group PLC confirms that the resolution to effect a subdivision of the ordinary share capital of the Company was passed. Accordingly, each of the 1,690,145,443 ordinary shares of 1p each in the capital of the Company will be subdivided into and re-designated as 1,690,145,443 ordinary shares of 0.1p each and 1,690,145,443 deferred shares of 0.9p each, subject to the existing Articles of Association.

The deferred shares will have no significant rights attaching to them and carry no right to vote or participate in distribution of surplus assets.

The effective time and date of the sub-division of the ordinary shares will be 8.00am on 21 October 2016.
