Mwana Africa PLC30 March 2007 Mwana Africa Plc ('Mwana' or the 'Company') Director Share Transaction London 30th March 2007 - The Board of Mwana (AIM:MWA) announces that on 30 March 2007, it was notified of the following transaction by Directors in the Company's ordinary shares of 10 pence each. On 29 March 2007, Oliver Baring, the Company's Executive Chairman, sold 99,524 ordinary shares in the market at a price of 42.86 pence per share. Subsequently,on 30 March 2007 his pension fund bought 105,476 ordinary shares at 44 pence per share. Following the above transactions, Mr Baring's beneficial interest in the Company has increased by 5,952 ordinary shares, to a total of 905,476.
