Argo Group Limited (the 'Company') 

NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS, PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL 

RESPONSIBILITY OR CONNECTED PERSONS 

The Company was notified on 3 September 2009 that an entity beneficially owned by Michael Kloter, Non-Executive Chairman of the Company and his family, had purchased 400,000 shares in the Company, at a price of 10 pence per share, on 3 September 2009.

Following this purchase, Michael Kloter has an interest in 1,000,000 shares in the Company, representing 1.3 per cent. of the issued share capital, which will be held in the name Dodoni AG.
