Transaction in Own Shares, Total Voting Rights and Director's Dealing
Transaction in Own Shares
Arden announces that on 27 September 2012 it purchased 1,438,938 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 43.5 pence per Ordinary Share. These Ordinary Shares will be held in treasury.
Total Voting Rights
Following the above purchase, Arden's issued Ordinary Share capital comprises 25,005,594 Ordinary Shares, of which 1,438,938 Ordinary Shares are now held in treasury, leaving a balance of 23,566,656 Ordinary Shares with voting rights.
The above figure (23,566,656 Ordinary Shares) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of Arden under the FSA's disclosure and Transparency rules.
Directors' Dealings
Arden has also been notified that on 27 September 2012 Trevor Norris, Group Finance Director and Company Secretary, sold 120,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 43.5 pence per Ordinary Share.
Following this transaction Trevor Norris has a beneficial interest in 559,600 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 2.38 per cent of the Company's issued Ordinary Share capital.
In addition, on 27 September 2012 Jonathan Keeling, the Company's Chief Executive Officer, transferred 45,000 Ordinary Shares, into his SIPP, of which he is the sole beneficiary, at a price of 43.5 pence per Ordinary Share.
Following this transaction Jonathan Keeling retains a beneficial interest in 1,515,391 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 6.43 per cent of the Company's issued Ordinary Share capital.
