AGM Statement
Arden Partners plc (LSE:ARDN) - Peter Moon, Non-Executive Chairman of Arden, will deliver the following statement at the Company's Annual General Meeting which is being held at 11 am today, March 19th, 2015.
"As indicated in my statement in the Annual Report & Accounts, we have now recruited at a senior level into the corporate finance area of the business in order to broaden the range and depth of advisory services we offer to our clients and we are well placed to deliver the growing number of transactions the firm is mandated on.
We have been encouraged in recent weeks at the level of equity commission business that has been transacted by our team and although broker commissions in the sector undoubtedly remain under pressure, there continue to be fertile areas for the active broker to seek out.
Following our RNS announcement of February 19th, 2015 we are delighted to be welcoming Luke Johnson onto the Board of Arden, upon receipt of regulatory approval, and my colleagues and I very much look forward to working together with Luke to develop and grow the Arden franchise."
