Baroness Kingsmill to step down from APR Energy Board
APR Energy today announces that Baroness Denise Kingsmill has informed the Board that she will step down from her role as Senior Independent Director, with immediate effect, for personal reasons. Baroness Kingsmill has served on the Board of APR Energy as Senior Independent Director since its public listing in 2011 and, in 2014, was appointed as Vice Chairman.
Haresh Jaisinghani has been appointed by the Board as Interim Senior Independent Director, with immediate effect, until a replacement can be named. The Board's Nomination Committee met and has commenced a search to identify quickly a successor for this important role, as well as to fill its remaining open Board positions.
Baroness Denise Kingsmill said, "It has been a pleasure serving on the APR Energy Board and it is with much regret that I must step down from it in order to attend to personal matters. I am very proud to have been a part of the Company's rapid growth and development as a publicly listed company. I remain a true and steadfast believer in APR Energy's business, strategy and management team, and I look forward to seeing its continued success."
