APR Energy: Director Changes
APR Energy, a global leader in fast-track power solutions, announces the following changes as part of the Company's ongoing restructuring of its Board to better align with corporate governance best practice. Mr. Allen and Mr. Hawkes have agreed to step down from the Board, with immediate effect. Following this change, the Board will comprise a majority of Independent Non-executive Directors.
Baroness Denise Kingsmill, Vice Chairman and Senior Independent Director, said: "As APR Energy continues to mature as a publicly listed company, it is important that the Board reflects a more appropriate balance of independent directors. Matthew and Edward have provided a tremendous contribution over the past three years. We thank them for their experience, judgment and guidance which has served the Company and its shareholders well over the past years."
Matthew Allen and Edward Hawkes, commented: "APR Energy is a global leader in its field and, following the GE transaction, we are proud of its achievements. We have agreed to step down from the Board to enable the Company to move forward into its next chapter, with a more appropriate Board structure in place.
