Anglo Pacific Group PLC ("the Company")
Shareholding Notification
The Company has been informed on 26th August 2008 that, as at 25th August 2008, AXA S.A, and its group of companies, now hold an interest in 10,566,849 ordinary shares of 2p each in the Company. This holding represents approximately 9.90% of the voting rights of the Company's issued share capital.
These shares are represented by a beneficial interest of 515,026 shares (approximately 0.48% of the issued ordinary share capital) and a non-beneficial interest of 10,051,823 shares (approximately 9.42% of the issued ordinary share capital).
The identity of each registered holder of the shares to which this notice relates, so far as is known to AXA Investment Managers UK Limited, as at 25th August 2008, is as noted below:
