Scrip Dividend Cancellation

Anglo Pacific Group PLC ("the Company") announces that, in accordance with the Scrip Dividend Circular dated 14th November 2008, the Scrip Dividend Alternative will be automatically cancelled due to the ordinary share price on 19th December 2008 being below 97p.

Any elections made by shareholders pursuant to this offer will also be cancelled.

The interim cash dividend of 3.45p per ordinary share for the year ended 31st December 2008 will be paid to shareholders on 7th January 2009.
