Advanced Power Components PLC15 January 2007 Date: 15 January 2007 Advanced Power Components Plc ("APC" or "the Company") Distribution agreements Advanced Power Components plc, a specialist distributor and manufacturers'representative of electronics components, announces it has signed an exclusiveagreement with VPT Inc, an innovative leader in providing power distributionproducts for military, aerospace, space and other high reliability markets, todistribute its products in the UK and Ireland. APC's Hi-Rel division, the UK's leading distributor of high reliabilityelectronic components to aerospace, defence and specialist industrial customers,will provide VPT's customers with local sales and technical support. Thisagreement is expected to have a significant positive impact on turnover in theHi-Rel division. VPT's global customer base includes BAE, Smiths Industries, Thales, LockheadMartin and Boeing. Its patented products provide power supply solutions forprojects such as the GPS satellite system and the Cosmic Dust Experiment onNASA's Pluto-Kuiper Belt Mission. APC has also recently signed distribution agreements with two wireless solutionsproviders, Nanotron Technologies GmbH and RadioPulse, whose products will bedistributed by APC's Hero division. This division, which was acquired in May2006, specialises in the distribution of commercial & industrial electroniccomponents. Its specialist team of product managers provides assistance in keyareas including standard and custom display solutions, thin-film transistors("TFTs"), display drivers, wireless technologies and full design support fromconcept to production.
