The Board of Aberdeen New Thai Investment Trust PLC (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah McCarthy as an independent non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 March 2019.
Sarah McCarthy brings to the Board twenty years' experience in financial services, fifteen years of which have been focused on investment marketing. Sarah has a wealth of communications and marketing campaign knowledge gained across a wide range of investment products and client types. Sarah also Chairs the Board of a Multi Academy Trust in South West London where she is responsible for financial oversight, risk management, strategic direction and Trust performance.
There is no further information to be disclosed for Sarah McCarthy in respect of paragraphs 9.6.13 (2) - (6) of the UKLA Listing Rules.
Sarah McCarthy does not currently hold any shares in the Company.
