Director/PDMR Shareholding

On 15 March 2011 the Company allotted 10,500 new ordinary shares of 20p each ('New Ordinary Shares') to Group CEO Stephen Wildridge following the exercise of share options under the Animalcare Group plc Executive Share Option Schemes (EMI). The options were exercised at a price of 57.5 pence per share.

The Company was notified on the same day that Mr Wildridge sold 10,500 ordinary shares of 20p each in the Company at a price of 154.75p per share and that Mr Wildridge's wife, Mrs Margaret Wildridge, purchased 10,500 ordinary shares of 20p each in the Company at a price of 155.25p per share.

As a result of these transactions, Mr Wildridge has a beneficial interest in 129,568 shares representing 0.64% of the enlarged issued share capital of the Company.

Following this allotment the Company has 20,296,324 shares in issue.

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the New Ordinary Shares, which will rank pari passu with existing Ordinary Shares, to be admitted to trading on AIM as soon as is practicable.
