AMINO SECURES SOFTWARE LICENSING CONTRACT WITH PCCW MEDIA

Amino software to support innovative "all-in-one" 4K UHD experience to Hong Kong customers

Amino has secured a software licensing contract to provide its Enable™ TV device software to PCCW Media, a leading, fully integrated multimedia and entertainment group in Hong Kong, to support its drive to deliver new 4K UHD experiences via a new service of its Now TV.

PCCW Media has launched the new "Now One" integrated 4K UHD all-in-one set-top box, to provide a single source for home entertainment, apps and recording.

PCCW Media will utilise Enable in the Now One, allowing them to exploit the advanced features of their new 4K offering and support Apps for information and customer support.

Now One provides consumers with new levels of entertainment and functionality delivered via Now TV (IPTV), digital terrestrial TV (DTT), Over-the-top (OTT) - including 4K content on its Netflix service - and personal video recording (PVR).

During the year, PCCW Media will roll out a range of 4K content to complement its broad offering which encompasses exclusive sports content, Netflix's 4K titles, and other variety shows, drama series and documentary features.
