TRADING UPDATE
Ambrian Capital plc ("Ambrian" or the "Group") today issues a trading update based on unaudited management accounts.
Ambrian is pleased to report that trading conditions continued to be favourable for the Group for the year ending 31 December 2010. Profits before tax and share-based payment charges for the year are expected to be substantially ahead of the £1.82 million estimated in the Trading Update issued on 7 December 2010.
In the last quarter of 2010, Ambrian benefitted from a strong performance by Ambrian Partners Limited, primarily as a result of increased fund raising activity, and continued growth in the value of the principal investment portfolio.
Ambrian will announce its final results for 2010 in the latter part of March 2011.
