Change of Adviser
Hambledon Mining plc, the Kazakhstan gold mining and development company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Strand Hanson Limited as the Company's Nominated Adviser and Broker with immediate effect.
Directorate Changes
Aidar Assaubeyev, Chief Executive Officer, has today been formally appointed as a Director of the Company.
The Company's board of directors (the "Board") is further being strengthened by the appointment, also with immediate effect, of William Trew as an independent Non-Executive Director.
Bill Trew has over 32 years' experience in the engineering and mining industry and is a registered professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa. He has served as a director of a number of mining companies, both public and private, and he brings a wealth of experience to the Board. He holds a B.Eng. (Mech.) Hon. from the University of Wales Institute Science and Technology, and an M.Eng. from Rand Afrikaans University, Johannesburg.
The Company also announces the resignation of Tim Daffern, effective today, and would like to thank him for his services as a director of the Company.
The Company is in the process of appointing additional Directors to further enhance the Board, and expects to make announcements in this regard in the near future.
