Alternative Energy Limited14 March 2008 For Immediate Release 14 March 2008 ALTERNATIVE ENERGY LIMITED ("the Company") Board Appointment Further to the acquisition of Renewable Power Pte Ltd ("Renewable Power") inNovember 2007, the Board of Alternative Energy Limited is pleased to announcethe appointment of Dr Eric Swee Ming Goh, a founder and sole shareholder ofRenewable Power, as a director of the Company with immediate effect. Dr Eric Goh, aged 43, is an experienced research scientist and engineer andholds a PhD in Business Management, Master of Science in Information Studies andBachelor of Engineering (Mechanical). Christopher Nightingale, Chairman, states: "We are delighted to welcome Dr Gohto the Board. He leads the Renewable Power scientific team acquired inNovember, and will provide the Company with the capacity to assess the technicalviability of potential businesses in the alternative energy sectors."
