Manpower Software PLC05 October 2005 5 October 2005 MANPOWER SOFTWARE PLC ("Manpower Software" or the "Company") Board changes Appointment of Mr Terry Osborne as Director and Executive Chairman Resignation of Mr Robert Drummond The Company is pleased to announce today the appointment to the Board of MrTerry Osborne as a director and as Executive Chairman. Terry Osborne, aged 67, enjoyed a distinguished career with IBM over the period1961 to 1987, where he held Vice President positions in Europe and the USA. Hewas also a director of IBM UK. In 1987, he founded SSA Ltd, a technologycompany, and was President of SSA Inc for the period 1994 to 1996. Mr Osbornehas served on the Boards of several technology companies in both the USA andEurope, including Chairman of Dr Solomon's Group plc, Prime Response Inc andEyretel plc. He was also a director of Mapics Inc. He is currently a directorof Dendrite International Inc., a primary technology supplier to the globalpharmaceutical industry, and Witness Systems Inc, a leading global supplier ofworkforce performance optimisation software and services. The Board wishes to express its thanks for his determinedapproach and contribution both as a director and latterly as Chairman, and forhis role in establishing the Company as a successful and profitable softwaresupplier. Note: In addition to the above, Mr Osborne is currently Chairman of THO ConsultingLimited and of St John's Westminster RTM Company Limited. He was also adirector for the period from 2000 to 2002 of Entranet Ltd, which was the subjectof a members' voluntary liquidation in 2002.
