("Allanfield" or "the Company")

Grant of options

The Company announces that on 15 February 2012, a total of 808,029 options over the Company's ordinary shares of 1 pence each ("Options") were granted to directors and employees of and a consultant engaged by Allanfield, representing 4.91% of the issued share capital of the Company. Of these, 525,546 Options were granted to certain directors pursuant to Allanfield Group Plc's EMI Share Option Plan ("the EMI Scheme") and 163,504 Options were granted to a director pursuant to an unapproved share option plan ("the Unapproved Scheme").

The Options were granted for nil consideration with an exercise price of 68.5 pence per share.

The directors, as listed below, can exercise their Options as follows: 25% after 1 February 2014, 25% after 1 February 2015 and 50% after 1 February 2016.

The remaining Options can be exercised as follows: 25% after 1 February 2013, 25% after 1 February 2014 and 50% after 1 February 2015.

Following the grant, the interests of directors in Options are as follows:

Save for the above the directors' beneficial interests remain unchanged and as previously announced.
