FURTHER DELAY IN DESPATCH OF CIRCULAR

IN RELATION TO

MAJOR TRANSACTION

Reference is made to (i) the announcement of Air China Limited (the "Company") dated 1 March 2013 in relation to, among other things, the purchase of aircraft by the Company and its subsidiary, Air China Cargo Co., Ltd. (the "Transaction"); and (ii) the announcement of the Company dated 22 March 2013 (the "Extension Announcement") in relation to the delay in despatch of the circular in respect of the Transaction (the "Circular") until 30 April 2013.

As stated in the Extension Announcement, the Company expected to despatch the Circular on or before 30 April 2013. However, as additional time is required for preparing and finalising certain information to be contained in the Circular, the despatch date of the Circular is expected to be further delayed to a date falling on or before 30 June 2013.
