db x-trackers Harvest FTSE China A-H 50 Index UCITS ETF (DR)

(the “Sub-Fund”)

The board of directors of the Company hereby informs the shareholders of the Sub-Fund (the “Shareholders”) that the index provider (“FTSE”) of the FTSE China A-H 50 Index (the “Reference Index”) tracked by the Sub-Fund has decided to change the calculation methodology in respect of the Reference Index as follows, with an effective date of 18 September 2017 (the “Effective Date”):
(i) To clarify that FTSE is the Benchmark Administrator of the Reference Index; and
(ii) To amend the universe from which the constituents of the Reference Index are selected such that from the Effective Date the China A Shares included in the Reference Index will no longer be comprised of companies comprising the FTSE China A All-Share Index, and will instead be comprised of companies comprising the FTSE China A All Cap Free Index.
The FTSE China A All Cap Free Index includes all China A share classes of equity listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange and Shenzhen Stock Exchange (provided that certain shares may be excluded). The review of the FTSE China A All Cap Free Index takes place in March and September.
For the avoidance of doubt, shareholders should note that the investment objective and the relevant Reference Index of the Sub-Fund will remain unchanged (with the exception of the changes described above).
The above mentioned change will be reflected in a revised prospectus of the Company (the “Prospectus”) to be issued on or around the Effective Date. Revised copies of the Prospectus reflecting the above change will be available on the website of the Company (www.Xtrackers.com), and may be obtained free of charge at the Company’s registered office or at the foreign representatives’ offices, once available.
