ROS AGRО PLC (LSE: AGRO) has announced the Board of Director recommendations for the 2nd half of 2016 dividend payment.
The Board recommended to the Annual General Meeting of shareholders of the Company to be held on April 13, 2017 to pay as dividends with a total pay-out RUB 6 623 689 109.54 (USD 108 931 116.17), which constitutes 48% of net income for 2016.
Given that the Company has already paid RUB 2 004 335 611.30 (USD 30 924 423.91) as dividends for the first half of 2016 and that the Company owns 2 172 368 of its own GDRs, which should be excluded from dividends distribution, the amount to be paid for the second half of 2016 will be RUB 4 619 353 498.24 in total and RUB 171.75 / RUB 34.35 (per share/per GDR, all gross). The payment of the dividends for the second half of 2016 will be made in US dollars (in total amount USD 78 006 692.26), based on the official exchange rate established by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation on March 13, 2017, which was 59.2174. The payments will amount to USD 2.90 (gross) per share or USD 0.58 (gross) per GDR.
The dividend record date is 13 April 2017 (the ex-dividend date is 12 April 2017), and the payment date is on or before 28 April 2017.
Gross amount of dividends for the second half of 2016 per GDR is equal to the same amount as of the second half of 2015 (USD 0.58 per 1 GDR).
