30th April 2015 AGA RANGEMASTER GROUP PLC AGM STATEMENT AGA Rangemaster Group plc is holding its Annual General Meeting at 11am todayat which the following statement will be made by the Chairman, John Coleman. "2014 was a year in which our new product mix brought benefits as marketconditions improved. We saw overall revenue growth of nearly 5%, with UK growthof over 8% where sales of both AGA and Rangemaster cookers were good. We sawreally strong performances from Fired Earth in the UK and from AGA Marvel inNorth America. That was somewhat offset by tough trading conditions for Grangefurniture in North America and for Waterford Stanley in Ireland. At the start of 2015 the UK market for appliances has strengthened and growthis expected this year. For us the emphasis for our UK brands is on our springpromotions which are now underway. In North America we are into the third yearof growth and the new energy efficiency regulations introduced in September2014 are helping our market position. The benefits of our strong productintroduction programmes should now be seen in our international markets. In January we appointed Rothschild to explore a number of strategic options andprogress is being made."
