Amiad, a leading global producer of water treatment and filtration solutions, announces that Ms. Osnat Ronen, a non-executive director of the Company, has resigned from the Board of Directors ("BOD") with immediate effect. The Company intends to announce a replacement as soon as possible.
Ms. Ronen has represented the interests of Viola Private Equity I L.P. ("Viola"), which owns approximately 19.5% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital, on the BOD since 1 April 2009. Ms. Ronen, who has stepped down from her position at Viola, is unable to continue to represent their interests and, hence, has resigned from the BOD.
