African Potash, the AIM listed exploration company focused on sub-Saharan potash assets, would like to refer shareholders to the article published in the Daily Mail referring to an impending placement at a significant discount to the current share price.
The directors wish to clarify to shareholders that this is a speculative and unfounded statement. No such placements are being considered.
The Company continues to focus on the progress being made in its landmark trading agreement with the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa ("COMESA"), with a view to creating a vertical platform for mining, production and distribution of fertiliser in the COMESA States and beyond.
