Statement regarding delay in delivery of fuel cells to AkzoNobel
The Board of AFC announces that after discussion with its customer,ย AkzoNobel, the Companyย willย delay delivery of its first fuel cells to AkzoNobel's Bitterfeld site in Germany.ย Although the individual fuel cells are operating well, there is further work required to enhance the overall output of the combined system.ย
AFC isย currently undertaking this work, and delivery is expected to commence onceย this is completed.
CEO Gerard Sauer commented "Our staff are working closely with AkzoNobel, and we have completed the preparatory work at the Bitterfeld site in anticipation of delivery and installation."
The Board will update shareholdersย once it has clarity on the revised timing of delivery.
