Aminex PLC16 July 2007 NOT FOR RELEASE, PUBLICATION OR DISTRIBUTION IN PART OR IN WHOLE IN OR INTO THE UNITED STATES, CANADA, AUSTRALIA, SOUTH AFRICA OR JAPAN FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 16 JULY 2007 Aminex PLC ("Aminex" or "the Company") Result of Rights Issue Aminex PLC today announces that it has received valid acceptances in respect of14,465,371 New Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 51.4 per cent. of thetotal number of New Ordinary Shares offered to Qualifying Shareholders pursuantto the 1 for 6 non-underwritten rights issue announced by Aminex on 15 May 2007(the "Rights Issue"). In accordance with the terms of the Rights Issue, Davy and Bridgewell may nowseek to procure subscribers for the shares which were not validly taken up inthe Rights Issue, including fractional entitlements and the entitlements ofoverseas shareholders who were unable to participate. A further announcement inrelation to any such placing will be issued in due course.
