Admiral Group plc launches in Italy
The Group is pleased to announce that its operation in Italy, trading under the name of ConTe, has opened from its offices based in Rome. It is intended that various marketing campaigns will be tested over the coming months and volumes will be small during this period. The Group will provide further update when it announces its results for the year ended 31 December 2008 in March 2009.
Henry Engelhardt, Chief Executive, commented, "The managers in Italy have worked extremely hard to get the approvals required, systems and staff in place to launch our third overseas operation and we congratulate them on reaching this important milestone."
