Admiral Group PLC05 September 2006 Admiral Group plc ("Admiral" or "the Group") Directorate Changes In March 2006 the Group announced that Andrew Probert would retire from hisposition as Finance Director in September. The Board confirms that this changetook place on 4 September 2006. The Group is pleased to announce that KevinChidwick is appointed to the position of Finance Director. Kevin Chidwick wasappointed as Admiral's Finance Director Designate on 7 March 2006. Kevin joined Admiral in September 2005 from Engage Mutual. He has over 20 yearsexperience in UK financial services, including senior positions with Cigna andNational Australia Bank. Kevin is a Fellow of the Association of CharteredCertified Accountants and has an MBA from London Business School. The Group is also pleased to announce the appointment of Lucy Kellaway andMargaret Johnson to the position of Non-Executive Directors of the Board withimmediate effect. Mrs Johnson will also join the Audit Committee andRemuneration Committee from the date of this appointment and Mrs Kellaway willjoin the Nomination Committee. Margaret Johnson has been Group Managing Director of the internationaladvertising agency Leagas Delaney since 2002, and with that company for the past11 years. Leagas Delaney numbers amongst its clients Goodyear, Patek Philippe,and the Nationwide Building Society. Lucy Kellaway is the Financial Times' management columnist, and has been with the paper for the last twenty years, during which time she has held the roles of energy correspondent, Brussels correspondent, and a Lex writer.
