China Private Equity Investment Holdings Limited
("CPE" or the "Company")
Disposal of Investment AIP Global Holdings Limited ("AIP Global")
The Company announces that, yesterday, it signed an agreement with Capital VC Limited ("Capital VC") pursuant to which CPE has agreed to sell its entire holding in AIP Global to Capital VC for cash consideration of HK$15 million (equivalent to approximately US$1.9 million). The book value of the Company's investment in AIP Global was US$1 million as at 31 December 2012.
The proceeds from the disposal of this investment will be put towards follow on investments in other assets currently held by the Company, details of which will be announced in due course, as required.
