Bank Leumi le- Israel B.M.Β (theΒ "Bank")Β herebyΒ announcesΒ as follows:

OnΒ 26Β April 2009, aΒ rulingΒ of the Antitrust General DirectorΒ was receivedΒ atΒ the BankΒ pursuant toΒ s.43(a)(1) of the Antitrust Law,Β 1988,Β according to whichΒ restrictive trade agreements, relating to theΒ transferΒ of informationΒ regardingΒ commissions, had existed between the Bank, Bank Hapoalim B.M., Israel Discount Bank Ltd., Mizrahi-Tefahot Bank Ltd.Β and the First International Bank of Israel Ltd., during the period from the beginning of theΒ 1990s until the commencement of the Antitrust Authority's investigationΒ of the matter, in November 2004.Β This is a civilΒ ruling, which constitutes prima facie evidence of the matters therein determined in any legal proceedings.

The Bank is entitled to file an appeal against the whole or part of theΒ ruling. The Bank isΒ examiningΒ theΒ rulingΒ and considering its further steps.
At this early stage, the effects of the ruling can not be assessed.
