Albemarle & Bond Holdings PLC17 July 2007 Albemarle & Bond Holdings plc ("the Company") Acquisition and Share Placing Further to the announcement made by the Company on 11 July 2007 in connectionwith the acquisition of Herbert Brown & Son Limited, the Company announces that7,346,335 Ordinary shares proposed to be issued by the Company in accordancewith the terms of the acquisition and the associated fundraising, as detailed in the previous announcement, were admitted to trading on AIM on 16 July 2007. All of the conditions relating to the acquisition have now been satisfied and as a result the transaction has now completed. Pursuant to the admission of the shares above and in accordance with theFinancial Services Authority Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the Companyadvises that its issued share capital at the date of this announcement comprises 54,419,391 Ordinary shares of 4p each. The voting rights of all of these shares are identical with each share carrying the right to one vote. The Company does not hold any ordinary shares in treasury.
