ASSOCIATED BRITISH FOODS PLCDIRECTOR/PDMR SHAREHOLDING
Associated British Foods plc ('the Company') has been notified of the following transactions in its shares by Howard Investments Limited ('Howard Investments'), a wholly-owned subsidiary of its majority shareholder Wittington Investments Limited ('Wittington Investments'), further to the announcements made on behalf of Wittington Investments and Howard Investments on 30 and 31 May 2024.
Howard Investments is considered to be a 'person closely associated' with George Weston (Chief Executive of the Company) and Emma Adamo (Non-Executive Director of the Company) for the purposes of the notification requirements contained in Article 19 of the UK Market Abuse Regulation.
The first notification relates to the dematerialisation of shares held by Howard Investments in certificated form, with no change to beneficial ownership. The second notification relates to the sale of those shares through the accelerated bookbuild process referred to in the Results of placing of ordinary shares in Associated British Foods PLC announcement issued on 31 May 2024.
The notifications below, which are made in accordance with the requirements of Article 19 of the UK Market Abuse Regulation, provide further detail.
