Associated British Foods plc (the 'Company') is pleased to announce today that Michael McLintock has been appointed as a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 1 November 2017.
Michael McLintock is currently a Trustee of the Grosvenor Estate and a Non-Executive Director of Grosvenor Group Ltd. He was Chief Executive of M&G from 1997 until his retirement in 2016. Following Prudential's acquisition of M&G, Michael was a director of Prudential from 2000 until 2016. He is also a Member of the Finance Committee of the MCC.
He will become a member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees on appointment.
The Company confirms that there are no further details to disclose under paragraphs 9.6.13R (1) of the Listing Rules in respect of this new director.
