PDMR Dealings: Share Incentive Plan

Cambridge, UK: Abcam plc (AIM: ABC), the rapidly growing bioscience company that markets antibodies via its own online catalogue, was notified on 28 February 2011 of the following transactions under the Abcam plc Share Incentive Plan ("the SIP") to the benefit of certain of its PDMRs in line with their commitment to participate in the SIP on a monthly basis:

The risk of forfeiture attached to the Matching Shares will normally be removed on the third anniversary of the award subject to continued employment and the retention of the Partnership Shares in connection with which they were awarded.

No consideration was paid by the above grantees for the award of the Matching Shares and no consideration is due on the release of these shares.
