Cambridge, UK: Abcam plc (AIM: ABC), the rapidly growing bioscience company that markets antibodies via its own online catalogue, announces that it was notified on 5 May 2010 that Prof. Tony Kouzarides, a non-executive director of the Company, sold 5,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company on 5 May 2010 at a price of 1187p per ordinary share. Following this transaction Prof. Kouzarides has an interest in 80,244 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company representing approximately 0.22% of the Company's issued share capital.
