Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority to de-list the 6% (formerly 4.2%) cumulative preference shares of £1 each with effect from 11 May 2011 or earlier.
This will have no effect on the dividend due on 30 June 2011 which the company intends to pay to its preference shareholders.
