Finance & Strategy executive announces his retirement
Dean Tufts, Executive Director (Finance & Strategy), has announced he will be retiring in January 2024, following over 30 years at A2Dominion.
Dean joined the then Acton Housing Association in 1993 as Finance Director. Over the years Dean's role evolved with the organisation, across multiple mergers and a period of significant growth. He was appointed Executive Director (Finance & Strategy) in 2009.
Dean has played a key part in the success of the Group over the last 30 years, supporting the growth of the organisation from a small landlord with responsibility for 1,500 homes, to A2Dominion Group as it is today, with over 38,000 homes and 70,000 customers.
Speaking of his retirement, Dean said: "It's been a pleasure to be part of the growth and development of A2Dominion over the last 30 years. During my time here the organisation has experienced a sustained period of change and growth and with it, I've experienced plenty of fresh challenges.
"I've really enjoyed working alongside my talented colleagues, sharing ideas and addressing challenges together - I'm very proud of what we've achieved. I will be leaving with plenty of happy memories and many valued friends and colleagues."
Chief Executive, Ian Wardle, said: "I'd like to thank Dean for his long and successful service to the Group, helping us to provide much-needed homes to more and more customers over the years.
"I know he will be missed by colleagues across the organisation, and I would like to wish him the very best for his retirement."
