In accordance with article 82 of the Securities Market Act, Endesa, S.A. hereby reports the following
SIGNIFICANT EVENT
Endesa now confirms that after obtaining clearance from the National Markets and Competition Commission, the company has proceeded to acquire, from the Galp Energía Group, its natural gas trading business in Spain for the domestic-commercial segment, for a total purchase price of 34.7 million euros. The acquisition will become effective from 1 November 2015. This amount includes the preliminary adjustments typical in these kinds of transactions to reflect net debt and working capital, and will also be subject to subsequent adjustments once the closing balances have been verified.
