The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Num4 says, start looking at the bigger picture.
if you dont think consolidation is good, press the sell button. cos it is going to happen..
personally i think PH are lining up clients already who will make their moves once consolidation happens
it all depends on why you consolidate, in may AIM cases, its because a companies SP had gone down so much to its nominal value, they could'nt raise anymore money without consolidating.
or like in the case of VAL, they've done a rinse and repeat job to raise funds
however here this isnt the case, we are well funded.. there isnt a desperate need to consolidate, like i said we are being primed
consolidations can work out- if you have substance behind it.
if you have news to underpin it, and sar has quite a few value drivers in the pipeline.
with PH on board there is obviously a plan behind it all, i can see Consolidation followed by corporate action..its game on
ill stick my neck out, and say SAR wont release a RNS saying Toxicology testing has finished. simply because they can view this as commercially sensitive information. however they will probably give us an update and bunch a couple of matters into one RNS and include an update then..
but happy if SAR prove me wrong.
The way covid is developing
it is behaving like the common flu virus.with different strains
we get a flu jab on the best guess by scientiest on which strain may be prevalent.. there wont be one jab for all strains..
only way forward is for treatments where we come in. just like if you get the flu you take paracetamol, then in the future you catch covid you take the treatment
Not necessarily true
oct 2020 TM and JR sold shares.
7 days later SAR recieved grant news..
simply put as long as someone buys/sells and have no knowledge of any news coming then they are fine.
scenario: we might have news next week, but when Parker bought he did not have knowledge. therefore he is fine
however if he has knowledge of news and he buys then its a definite no no
we please all take a moment to remember one of the great traders - even better returns than Berkshire

with capsules,
biggest advantage over forms is they have higher bio-availability compared to tablets, which means more drugs are likely to enter your bloodstream.
and
It can dissolve rapidly, reaching the bloodstream quickly.
a lot of chatter about this delay in Toxicology
SAR already talked about this in the presentation- the delay only occured due to SAR going down the capsule route.
they even said yes this caused a short term delay but the longer terms gains are worth it.
Will be watching with interest
Normal scenario
They have 3 days to publish the trade
However for certain market players eg the likes of Buffet, and others who are classed as market movers. Can have months to declare.
If we don't see the trades within 3 days you can assume some big hitters got involved.
Sar already addressed the issue with Agile
Until you have completed the preclinical studies you do not qualify for it.
They also said of you enter Agile sar retains full control of the drug.
They haven't walked away. Its still there as an option
