let me help you further
in the Edison report they give a figure for the free float 96.7%
now google free float
In the context of stock markets, the public float or free float represents the portion of shares of a corporation that are in the hands of public investors as opposed to locked-in shares held by promoters, company officers, controlling-interest investors, or governments.
does that make sense to you..
here ends my free lesson
8.24% Barclays Bank PLC, Wealth and Investment 277,881,579 £15.4m
in your world you think Barclays as an instituition hold 277m shares
except they dont
i hold all my shares through barclays as do others who have an account with them..
Horse
Previously there was no need to get it done. Especially as it does cost money. Money which we didn't have spare
But now our finances are sound and the whole landscape has changed with tyk2, covid etc....
To those who don't like the idea of consolidation.you can always sell up..it will happen.
Simples
Corporate action will follow very shortly after the share consolidation.
When you consider we have 3.3bn shares in issues and over 95% is in public hands..it will be very difficult for an interested party to get involved
Less shares in issue and it is much easier
worries, we are about to enter the next stage in Sars growth..
with consolidation, its all about why a company is doing it..
people have been burnt previously with companies who had no choice but to do so so as their SP was on the floor and they couldnt carry out any more placings so had to consolidate.
we are not in that position,
in the AGM its was stated numerous times about institutions. my gut feeling is that we have some on the sidelines who will commit once a consolidation is done..or it could be the HNWI who will commit more funding.
Agile doesnt have a £5m funding criteria
think HDB is getting that mixed up with this seperate route
