I wasn't going to directly respond to any of Seingred or TDTs points because of arguments but it is Sunday, so why not.
Seingred you come across like bad loser Anna Soubry, making every excuse why you lost, yearning for what the remoaners call a peoples vote, deluding yourself that the vote would be different next time. Though i do concede if they included one remain option along with numerous "what do you mean by brexit" options, then such a skewed vote would make "remain" win. Your suggestion that all EU citizens living here should've been able to vote in the previous EU referendum, well yes if you wanted to fix the vote in favour of leave then you would've allowed that, luckily they didn't. Also expats apparently not allowed to vote in EU vote if they hadn't lived in the UK for 15 years, that 15 year cut off point seems perfectly fair
Both you and TDT may not like that Cameron promised an EU referendum but you should be both grateful to his goverment that he tried his best to make leave win by wasting £9 million of taxpayers money making 27 million pro remain leaflets and then swamping peoples home with them. I'm sure it convinced many to vote "remain" but obviously not enough.
Seingred says: "This is going to divide the country for decades.when the real repercussion kick in a good proportion of brexiters will be pushing up daisies leaving the young to pick up the pieces.of course"
You seem to live in an delusional world that everything was going great the way things were but you are wrong. Over the years my town has been swamped by EU citizens and it's turned into an absolute sh*th*le. It's not been life enriching for most locals.
Look in the local paper each week and you'll notice in "court cases" that a disproportionate amount of crimes are done by the EU citizens (probably 40-50%). Once you knew most crimes would be done by people in poor areas but these days many people who come from the EU let houses in roads with bought houses. So it is soul destroying that you work hard to buy an house and you've basically moved into a crime ridden area.
Again on crime, in my area you'll notice that if a violent crime or brutal murder happens more times than not it will have been done by someone who wasn't originally from this country.
A couple of years ago we won the award of the most murderous place to live in the country. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3413809/The-murder-capital-Britain-revealed-sleepy-Lincolnshire-town-home-highest-increase-migrants-country.html By the way the Erte woman mentioned she eventually got murdered herself. It didn't stop there. Later more violence and more murderers convicted: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lincolnshire-45130662
So i voted LEAVE because we need better quality control who comes here. So we need to come out of the customs union.
